US detects weaknesses in the 'resolution plan' of Bank of America, Citi, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan
The Federal Reserve of the United States (Fed) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) have identified "weaknesses" in the resolution plans submitted by Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase. The resolution plans - known as living wills - must describe the strategy of a bank for an orderly resolution in case of bankruptcy in case of financial difficulties or failures.
