The United Kingdom will rejoin the EU's Erasmus+ student exchange program in 2027, from which it withdrew five years ago after Brexit, the European Commission and London announced in a joint statement.
Britain had left the popular exchange program in 2020 with Brexit. EU Secretary of State Nick Thomas–Symonds is pleased about the "great profit for our young people."
