Two Yellowknife schools report lead levels in drinking water that exceed standards - Ground Water Canada
Yellowknife, N.W.T. – Two city schools have drinking water with lead levels that exceed maximum acceptable concentrations, the local school board has reported. Although the water is deemed safe for hand washing and cleaning, it is not suitable for drinking or for cooking. Bottled water and water fill stations are being provided in the meantime. The board is working to identify sources of exposure. CBC News report
