FRIDAY, MAY 9• 7:22 a.m. — Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 82 near Wallowa that took the life of Andrew Victor Singer, 50, of Wallowa. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Singer was driving east on the highway in a Subaru Impreza and crossed the center line, hitting head-on a westbound Toyota Rav4 driven by a 38-year-old Elgin man. Near Ashland, Oregon- Two people were killed Monday afternoon in a crash involving a pickup truck and a commercial vehicle on Interstate 5 near milepost 4 in southern Oregon, authorities said.
