All Dutch municipalities must have 96,000 shelter places available for asylum seekers by 1 July. That is the goal of the distribution law, but many municipalities will not reach their share in time. At the moment, two-thirds of the municipalities are still offering too little or nothing and the chance that this will change within a month is small. Some municipalities do not intend to comply with the law at all.
