Two Crew Members Fall Overboard After Collision Between Two Ships on the Scheldt

Two people fell from an inland vessel when it collided with a container ship on the Western Scheldt. They have since been pulled from the water, a spokesperson for the Coast Guard reports.

On the Western Scheldt, just across the Dutch border, a collision occurred on Friday between two ships. Two crew members of the inland vessel Beringzee ended up in the water but could be rescued according to the Dutch coastguard.
