New poll shows Jackson with lead in Senate race, Pingree with advantage in governor's race
A new survey from the survey research center at Marist University shows that Democratic candidate Troy Jackson has a slight lead in Maine's U.S. Senate race over Republican incumbent Sen. Susan Collins. The same Marist Poll also shows that Democrat Hannah Pingree has a double-digit lead in the race for Maine governor over Republican candidate Bobby Charles and independent State Sen. Rick Bennett.
