The U.S. Treasury Department confirmed through the "Frequent Question 1247" that non-U.S. companies will be able to operate with Venezuelan oil, petrochemicals and minerals without risking sanctions, provided they meet the conditions set by the U.S. country. It was also clarified under what conditions these companies and non-U.S. individuals can engage in oil, petrochemical and mining operations with the South American country.
