Transfer of leopards from Gandhi Sagar: Preparation to settle cheetahs or threat to the balance of the forest!

Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary (GSW) located in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh is being made the second home for cheetahs. This work is being done under the Cheetah Project. To make the new home for cheetahs a predator-free zone, the leopards present in the sanctuary are being shifted to other places.
