From January to the end of April this year, tourism revenues amounted to more than Rs 32.19 billion. This represents a slight increase compared to the first four months of the year 2024 or the revenues amounted to Rs 31.81 billion. For April alone, Rs 8.61 billion were collected against Rs 7.83 billion in April 2024. Remember, last year in total, tourism receipts were Rs 93.57 billion. Figures provided in the Bank of Mauritius' last report.
