Three Teenagers Injured After Car Driven at Group of People in Skerries
Gardaí said a large fight among youths escalated when a car drove at people several times, sending 3 teenagers to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A car was driven at a group of people on Harbour Road in Skerries, Dublin, on Saturday evening, injuring three teenagers who were taken to Beaumont Hospital.
Gardai responded to reports of a public order incident at 9.30pm when a large group of youths gathered on Harbour Road, and a fight broke out between two rival factions.
Footage shows a white BMW reversing at speed for around 20 feet before slamming into the group, with at least one person thrown into the air during the impact.
Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before three teenagers were transported to Beaumont Hospital, where their injuries were confirmed as non-life-threatening.
Gardai are reviewing CCTV footage and bystander recordings to identify those involved, while investigations remain ongoing to determine whether the disturbance was arranged.
