A health worker is alleged to have paid minors from Eastern Europe for explicit videos, and a teacher is suspected of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material through various online platforms.
Police have detained 20 suspects from 12 countries in Europe, North and Latin America as part of an international operation against child pornography. The operation was led by Spain and an additional 68 suspects have been identified so far in the ongoing investigation, Interpol said on Friday.
Some 20 people were arrested in the course of this survey, three of whom were in Catalonia.
In the international operation, 20 people have been arrested, seven of whom in Spain. The three arrested in Catalonia are a doctor from Granollers, a professor from Vilafranca and another person from Masnou.
