The Fire Department of South Salt Lake responded to a fire in the Islamic Center on Tuesday afternoon, whose cause is under investigation but is not considered suspicious, fire chief Terry Addison reported. The fire was reported at around 12:20 p.m., local time, in the center located at 3830 S. Main St. The fire was extinguished in less than 10 minutes, according to the department.
