About 500 protesters gathered peacefully in Los Angeles to demand accountability after a Border Patrol agent fatally shot Alex Pretti, who was armed during a targeted operation.
- On Saturday, Alex Pretti, 37-year-old ICU nurse and Minneapolis VA worker, was shot and killed in Minneapolis after allegedly approaching U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm handgun, DHS said.
