The much-loved Warrington 80s and 90s nightclub which disappeared in a ball of flames

Mississippi Showboat and Secrets was one of Warrington's most popular nightclubs. It attracted revellers from Warrington and beyond during its heyday in the 1980s and 90s. Sadly it was burned to the ground by arsonists in February 2004. The blaze was believed to have started in a garage, which was wrecked, and in which two guard dogs died.
