SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 24 – The series will conclude after five seasons to complete its story, with Season 4 premiering in 2026 and creators preparing a new series, The Mighty Nein, for November release.
- On July 24, during San Diego Comic-Con, Prime Video revealed that the animated series featuring Vox Machina will end with its fifth season, which will serve as the show's final chapter.
- The final season announcement followed the earlier success of the show, which premiered in 2022 and was renewed ahead of its fourth season debut in 2026.
- Creators Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham, executive producers and Critical Role co-founders, expressed gratitude to fans and emphasized the rarity of a show telling a complete story as originally envisioned.
