Government guarantees elections, despite threats of calling for elections

The Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) registered 11 parties and five political alliances willing to participate in the August general elections; however, representatives of indigenous peoples demand that the Constitution be respected and allowed to participate in the elections, without having to belong to any political force.
