Fairmont Pride Block Party Aims to Be a Safe Space for All
- Community members and local leaders gathered for a Pride Month reception at the SFO Museum's AIDS Memorial Quilt Exhibit on Friday.
- Daniel Calderon, curator of exhibitions, noted, "It's very important history that's local to San Francisco."
- San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie stated, "It's coming home to the city where it was born, where it will welcome people to the city that led the way during the AIDS crisis."
- The exhibit features some of the 50,000 quilt panels and is free for all airport visitors until next March.
