Among the hundreds of people who walked on Sainte-Foy Road on Saturday, with the Quebec flag poached in the air or tied around the neck, almost three quarters — if not more — were not even born in October 1995, during the last referendum for Quebec's independence.
A demonstration to mark the 30th anniversary of the 1995 Quebec sovereignty referendum and to demand a new one takes place Saturday afternoon at the Saint-Louis Square in Montreal.
