Driverless Taxis in Mainland China Could Control More than 6% of Market: HSBC

AUSTIN, TEXAS AND PHOENIX METRO AREA, ARIZONA, JUL 13 – Tesla aims to expand its Robotaxi service to Arizona despite early operational issues and safety investigations, competing with Waymo which has provided over 5 million paid rides.

HSBC says potential addressable market for robotaxis in mainland China is estimated to be around US$40 billion a year.
