Hungary will hold parliamentary elections next year in April 2026, and according to surveys, most young people want the end of the regime of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who has been in power with his Fidesz party for 15 years. This is also evident at festivals and music events, where the chant of the slogan Mocskos Fidesz (Dirty Fidesz) became a hit this year.
According to Deutsch, when Péter Magyar criticizes the government, he is actually calling hard-working people stupid. He believes that systemic corruption is a political blood feud to discredit the ruling party.
