DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Swimmer’s itch treatment is coming early this year for the shores of Big Detroit Lake. Contractors are scheduled to treat the roughly one-mile stretch of beach on Monday, June 9 — nearly three weeks earlier than last year. A second round of treatment is planned for mid-July.
