Swedish opposition holds big lead ahead of September vote, poll shows
The survey puts the opposition on 196 seats, while the Liberals drop below the 4% threshold and the Centre Party gains ground.
The centre-left opposition in Sweden holds a 10-percentage-point lead over the centre-right Tidö coalition ahead of the September 13 election, according to Verian's latest poll.
The opposition parties are projected to win 196 parliamentary seats compared to 153 for the government bloc, partly because the Liberals fall below the 4% threshold and would gain no seats.
