A poll conducted just four days after the founding of the NEW Party shocked both the CHP (which is now under a defunct administration) and the AKP (Justice and Development Party). According to the results, the NEW Party came in first place, while the AKP received 27.43% and the CHP, under its current administration, received only 2.94%.
