Sweden will sell 18 Archer pieces to Latvia. The package includes a comprehensive solution where Latvian soldiers will be trained in the system in advance.
Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds announced that Sweden has committed to delivering 18 Archer 8x8 artillery systems to Latvia. According to the minister, the systems are to be present in Latvia from the beginning of 2026. In addition, both countries are to intensify joint military exercises.
