Sudbury tax centre workers could strike if contract talks fail

Summary by Ground News
More than 2,600 staff at the Sudbury Tax Centre, along with other members of the Union of Taxation Employees across Canada, are looking for significant wage increases and flexibility to work from home. UTE and its parent union, the Public Service Alliance of Canada, have been holding a series of strike votes after declaring an impasse in bargaining last year. Talks are scheduled to resume in early April with the assistance of a third-party mediator.
