On Tuesday, the Strasbourg administrative court examined the gynaecological leave provided by the city and the Eurométropole of Strasbourg. The public rapporteur called for its annulment as requested by the prefecture. The decision was deliberated on 24 June.
The Bas-Rhin prefecture had appealed to the administrative court to oppose the establishment of a menstrual leave in Strasbourg, voted by the municipal council in May 2024. The hearing took place on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, and the case law referred to during the debates for an end to the experiment.
