STEPTOE, WA – Steptoe Butte State Park North of Colfax will be closed for most of this year. The park has been closed since late February when flooding caused several washouts. The Washington State Parks Department is repaving the road to the summit starting in late May or early June. The previously scheduled paving will close the park for four months.
