Porsche is experiencing a sharp drop in sales in Germany and is forced to offer discounts on iconic models like the 911. The electric strategy is not entirely convincing, and the brand is already considering returning to combustion engines to regain ground.
Not only does Porsche have a problem in China. According to a media report, the demand in the country is so bad that the manufacturer has to grant high discounts. Especially with two models, this is bitter.
In the first four months of the year, Porsche has allowed about 32 per cent fewer new vehicles in Germany. Around 40 per cent of these new registrations are also self-registrations.
