Spending on water projects to fall short of target

The government is expected to widely miss the target for fund utilisation on water sector projects in the outgoing fiscal year 2024-25. An amount of Rs142.6 billion had been allocated for water projects under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for FY25.
