SpaceX Just Unveiled Grok 4.6. Musk Calls it "Objectively #1" In AI. Anthropic, OpenAI and This Stock May Be in Trouble.
- On Tuesday, SpaceXAI introduced Grok Bot in beta for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS. The agents function as a "highly capable teammate" working in the background.
- SpaceX absorbed its AI division before a recent listing, forming SpaceXAI, which reported $7.81bn in second-quarter revenue. Connectivity brought in $4.29bn, while AI operations generated $2.56bn.
- Musk told an all-hands meeting that Grok will train on the "sum total of all SpaceX information." He described Staff as "a collection of some of the very best humans on Earth," arguing the model will inherit their values.
- SpaceXAI's Grok Bot follows offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic, featuring persistent agents working in the background. The company says agents "pass work, assign ownership, and only pull you in for judgment calls," letting users focus elsewhere.
- Expanding capabilities, SpaceXAI is buying Cursor for $60bn and committing to Nvidia hardware and orbital data centers. Enterprise users can join a waitlist for future agent platform access.
