SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Fire Department is responding Monday morning to a gas line rupture near Laguna Honda Hospital, officials announced at 11:13 a.m. Employees of the Twin Peaks hospital, located at 375 Laguna Honda Boulevard, are being evacuated, SFFD said. All students and staff members were moved to a nearby elementary school while firefighters and the gas company investigated, the principal says.

Propane smell forces evacuation of South Portland school

Students were temporarily moved to another building while a utility company and fire department investigated the odor.

The fire is not in danger of spreading to other buildings and there are no known injuries.
