On Wednesday, the House of Senators passed the bill for the implementation of the system for transmission and publication of preliminary results (TREP) in the general elections of August. The document passed to the executive branch for promulgation. The plenary analyzed two reports, one with modifications made by the Senate Constitution Committee and the other recommending approval of the bill submitted, unchanged, from the Chamber of Deputies.
The Senate plenary passed the Law on Transmission of Preliminary Election Results (TREP) and forwarded it to the Executive for promulgation and validity for the August general elections.
