Second arrest made in Ascension Parish interstate shooting, and another victim dies
Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies have arrested a second suspect connected to a fatal I-10 interstate shooting that occurred early Sunday morning. Kavis Octave Jr., 17, of Gonzales is charged with two-counts if 1st degree murder, two-counts attempted 1st degree murder, illegal use of weapons, assault by drive by shooting, and aggravated damage to property, according to a release by the Ascension Parish Sheriff's office.
