Coalition talks on EU rearmament plan to continue later Thursday
The four coalition parties spoke with Prime Minister Dick Schoof for three hours on Thursday about the hundreds of billions that the European Commission wants to allocate to better arm Europe. Schoof had already promised to agree to this on behalf of the Netherlands in Brussels last week, but a few days later, the House of Representatives passed a motion not to do this. The consultation has been suspended and will continue at 5 p.m.
