Sarah Ferguson sought mental health treatment after emails revealed financial requests and affectionate messages to Epstein, causing public and family distress, a source said.
Sarah Ferguson checked into the £13,000-a-day Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich after controversial emails linking her to Jeffrey Epstein surfaced, staying there from just after Christmas until the end of January for mental health treatment.
Ferguson has been keeping a low profile since September last year, spending time away from public life at Royal Lodge and abroad in the French Alps and United Arab Emirates following her stay at the clinic.
She has publicly acknowledged receiving treatment at Paracelsus for post-traumatic stress disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder .
