Salem County under a coastal flood advisory until early Wednesday evening

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory at 4:52 p.m. on Tuesday valid from 11 p.m. until Wednesday 4 p.m. for Salem County.“Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways,” explains the weather service. “Additional tidal flooding may continue with each high tide cycle through Thursday.”
