Russia will not open its planned naval base in Sudan in the near future, said the Russian ambassador to the country, Andrei Chernovol.
Construction of the Russian naval base in Sudan has been suspended due to the ongoing armed conflict in the country, Russian Ambassador to Khartoum Andrei Chernovol told RIA Novosti news agency.
