Arrested foreign traffickers, who are subject to criminal proceedings in Hungary, can be released from prison without a sentence from August 19. This was reported by the Hungarian TV station RTL on Friday night. Reference was made to a government decree referring to the emergency situation in Hungary since the war in Ukraine. A clause is intended to allow tugs to be released with a so-called conditional suspension of prosecution.
