LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – On October 29, 2025, at approximately 2:37 a.m., the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a crash on eastbound U.S. 50 just east of Spooner Summit in Douglas County.  The preliminary investigation indicates that a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound on U.S. 50.
