In the secure court in Vught, a new chapter was served in the Marengo trial today. Taghi, who was sentenced to life imprisonment last year, is again without legal assistance in the appeal. Vito Shukrula is the third lawyer for Taghi to be arrested. According to the criminal, he approached six law firms, but no one wanted to assist him.

In the extensive liquidation process Marengo, the situation surrounding the defense of main suspect Ridouan Taghi is on the agenda on Monday. The hearing of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal is in the new courtroom on the grounds of the Penitentiary Institution (PI) in Vught. Taghi is present at the hearing.
