Will the Circuit de Montjuic soon be racing again? Daniel Sirera, city councillor in Barcelona, is in favour of X revitalising the former Formula 1 course. Already in 2027, he wants to invite Formula E to the Catalan mountain. From 1969 to 1975, Formula 1 races were held on the Montjuic, also Niki Lauda made his rounds on the 3.8-kilometer-long course before it was cancelled after an accident by Rolf Stommelen, in which several spectators died.
