The IDF has issued an evacuation warning for Palestinians in several schools and a hospital in Gaza City’s Rimal neighborhood, saying that Hamas is exploiting the civilian sites for terror. “Due to the Hamas terror organization exploiting civilian areas for terror activities, as shown in the attached image, the IDF will attack the area with great force,” warns the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, Col. Avichay Adraee.

Avichai Edrei, IDF spokesman in Arabic, announced that certain compounds had to be evacuated due to terrorist activity. Those compounds include schools and hospitals known in the Gaza Strip.

The IDF evacuated blocks in the Rimal neighborhood in Gaza following civilian institutions used by Hamas, including hospitals, educational institutions and other compounds. The announcement came after the extraordinary appeal to evacuate the area: "We are prepared to expand the scope of the operation"

A military spokesman, Avichay Adraee, warned residents of the southern Gaza Strip neighborhood of Rimal to stay in the area ahead of what he described as an imminent airstrike, calling on residents to evacuate immediately for their safety. Adraee indicated that the operation targeted what he described as "military targets" in the area.
