Bengals, Shemar Stewart Reach Agreement on Rookie Contract

On Friday, Shemar Stewart and the Cincinnati Bengals agreed to a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $18.97 million, including a $10.4 million signing bonus, Zac Hiller said, according to Adam Schefter.
A disagreement over contract language that could void guarantees stalled signing, and Stewart missed all offseason workouts and the first week of camp.
According to Ian Rapoport, Stewart agreed to revised contract language, while the Bengals moved up $500,000 of his signing bonus to immediate payment.
Following his deal, every 2025 first-round pick now has a signed deal, and Stewart is now free to join his teammates on the field.
Next month, the Bengals open preseason on Aug. 7, while Trey Hendrickson remains absent seeking a new deal.
