Rams Player Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge: LAPD
On Monday night, Los Angeles Rams starting left tackle Alaric Jackson was arrested for felony domestic battery at his San Fernando Valley home and booked into the LAPD Valley Jail with bond set at $50k.
According to police, the incident began as a verbal argument over the woman allegedly filming Jackson with her phone, during which he allegedly attempted to seize the device, leaving her with scratch marks on her arm.
As the 13th highest-paid left tackle in the NFL, Jackson signed a three-year contract extension worth $57.5 million last offseason to anchor the Rams' offensive line and protect quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Under NFL personal conduct policy, battery violations carry a baseline six-game suspension; Jackson previously missed two games in 2024 for violating the same policy following an unauthorized recording incident.
The Rams have not officially released a statement regarding the arrest, but would rely on depth options including Warren McClendon, David Quessenberry, and rookie Keagen Trost if Jackson misses significant time.
