Former Hong Kong activist Agnes Chow flees territory for Canada
Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Agnes Chow has moved to Canada and will not return to meet her bail conditions.
Chow, a prominent figure in the 2019 protests against Beijing's rule in Hong Kong, was jailed for seven months for her role in a protest outside the police headquarters.
Chow decided to flee due to pressure from authorities, and her departure was facilitated by the Hong Kong police who she later thanked for arranging her trip to mainland China.
