On Monday, Croatian police forcibly removed and detained a group of 17 pro-Palestinian protesters who had blocked the entrance to the Foreign Ministry building and demanded action against Israel.

Police arrested ten to fifteen demonstrators in and around the Maagdenhuis in Amsterdam on Monday, a spokesperson said.

"How many reasons do you need?" the activist says about the occupation, standing outside the Maagdenhuis. The protesters want the University of Amsterdam to break ties with Israeli universities. The demonstration was ended by the riot police.

Since this morning, protesters have occupied the Maagdenhuis of the University of Amsterdam.

Activists have occupied the Maagdenhuis, a building of the University of Amsterdam on the Spui. They are doing this in response to the pro-Palestinian action last week at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. There too, a building was occupied, until the police removed the activists.
