Ernst has shown clutch ability, including scoring the overtime winner in Wisconsin Windigo’s final home game of the 2025-26 regular season. General Manager Tyler Kuntz commented: “Very familiar with Jackson as a player and person as I had previously recruited him in his high school days. Jackson is a fast aggressive player that can add offense to our group. He can play any role and situation. He’s a leader, a great teammate and the type of player every team needs. He’s a great fit for the Kings!” The Powell River Kings are excited to welcome Jackson to the organization and look forward to his contributions on the ice this season.
