Powell River Kings Acquire Defenseman Mark Konstantinov

Powell River, B.C. – The Powell River Kings are pleased to announce the acquisition of 2008-born defenseman Mark Konstantinov from the Brooks Bandits in exchange for future considerations. A 6’0”, 161-pound left-shooting blue-liner from Yaroslavl, Russia, Konstantinov just completed his rookie season in the BCHL. In 26 regular season games he recorded 5 points (2G-3A) and 21 PIMs, while also dressing for two postseason games with the Bandits. He is committed to Merrimack College (NCAA Div. I). The gritty, competitive defenseman brings physicality and toughness to the Kings’ blue line as the team builds momentum for the upcoming season.
