Slovak President Peter Pellegrini on Wednesday defended the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), which in its analysis rejected claims about the risk of vaccines against COVID-19 made by government representative Peter Kotlár. He had previously rejected the SAV's conclusions. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer) has previously repeatedly defended the government representative.
According to the head of state, SAS must not be the target of attacks just because the content of the analysis does not correspond to Petr Kotlár's ideas
Kotlár's criminal complaint, supported by analysis by molecular biologist and disinformation spreader Sone Peková, has not been decided even after five months.
